Get the most out of the pensions toolkits

On this website you'll find a wide range of content that you can use and share in whatever way suits you and your organisation. And best of all, it's free of charge!

The content is grouped into topics - or toolkits. Each toolkit includes resources in a range of formats, such as posters, videos, articles and factsheets to share with your colleagues via noticeboards, emails, newsletters, workshops or intranets.  You can use them as standalone pieces or combine whichever ones you want to reach your audience and help them learn about the important topics that affect their pension and savings.

If you're not sure where to start, think about the pensions topics that would most benefit your colleagues. You could survey them on what they want to know more about, or ask them to rate their understanding of different topics to see where they might need extra support.

To show you how you can use multiple pieces of content effectively, we've included a campaign plan with some of the toolkits. This will give you an idea of how you can use different items of content together over the course of a set period of time to increase awareness and drive action..

The content on this website applies to Sections of the Railways Pension Scheme but if you feel you'd like something more personalised to your own specific Section or organisation then please get in touch with us at toolkitsupport@railpen.com. We'd be happy to support you in creating something that targets your employees most effectively. There may be charges for this work but we would work together with you to define your requirements and agree any costs with you before we go ahead.

Changes to the website

We've made some improvements to the site to make it easier for you to download and share the content you want. Now, when you select a pensions topic, you will have the option to download the toolkit in full. Or, you can still select the individual items that work best for your channels.
